A scandal erupted in the Bryansk school where the shooting took place

The story of the shooting at the Bryansk gymnasium has received a new development: the parents of the students are outraged that charges were brought against the security guard and the caretaker.

We talked with the parents about the current situation.

On Monday I spent a lot of time in the center, where psychological assistance is provided to children from Bryansk gymnasium. I became an involuntary witness to conversations between schoolchildren and parents.

Here is a dialogue between two women who were expecting their children after consulting a psychologist.

– Why didn’t this girl go to a psychologist? – one of their mothers wondered. Apparently, they were talking about Alina, who started the shooting.

– None of them walk like that. I tell mine: go. He insisted: no, that’s all.

– Mine also woke up today and said: don’t touch me, leave me alone. I didn’t even eat the soup.

Two girls sat next to me, they looked about 13 years old. They discussed panic attacks and how to deal with them.

After a while, the hall was filled with teenagers. The guys were released after a group consultation with a psychologist.

“We’ve all discussed what’s possible, we don’t want any more,” one guy chuckled.

“Maybe now they’ll give us 100 points on the Unified State Exam,” suggested another.

“And I’m moving to a neighboring school, that’s what my mother decided,” the girl informed those around her.

– Let’s go to a cafe and have a snack…

None of the teenagers remembered the tragedy.

Later, I contacted one of the parents of an eighth-grader, who talked about the difficult situation that had developed at school.

“The situation is tense now,” the woman began the conversation. – My husband was there that day, he was taking the children out. The mother of one student arrived faster than the ambulance. She is a doctor and provided first aid. The gymnasium nurse was also great, she helped as best she could. The school leaders were simply panicking at this time. They tried to call an ambulance when the parents themselves had already broken into the floor and were taking the children out.

According to the interlocutor, many parents do not believe that those who were in the dock are to blame for the tragedy: “The security guard, the caretaker and Alina’s parents are definitely not to blame for this. Many people are surprised why the management of the gymnasium was not held accountable? We went to a meeting where psychologists and local officials were present. We were made to understand that the school was not to blame for what happened. It turns out that the parents and the children themselves are to blame? At these meetings we expressed everything we thought. But they told us: let’s calm down. The director of the gymnasium was also present there. But she didn’t even ask for forgiveness. As the situation escalated, she became ill with her heart. And her parents still didn’t have time to tell her.”

This is the first time a woman hears about the school psychologist who tested the shooter girl: “My child has been studying at school for 8 years, I have never seen this psychologist. Now psychologists work with children, and the IC staff also communicate with them, so-so rehabilitation. They told me that he handled the incident well. They advised me to call if something happens. If it were up to me, I would send all eighth-graders before the New Year to a sanatorium with the opportunity to study.”

The interlocutor knew the shooter girl’s family well. When asked what is happening with Alina’s mother now, the woman replies: “She never communicated with us. There is no contact with her now. Nobody can reach her. She fenced herself off from everyone. So much negativity was poured on her…”

There is no information from Alina’s mother’s employer. In the Bezhitsky District Court, where the woman worked, we were advised to contact law enforcement agencies for information: “And don’t write that she held the position of a cleaner, she was a supply manager.”

The situation at the place of work of the teenager’s father is also strange. At the trial, the accused indicated that he works for the Bryanskpivo security service. The guards said that they didn’t know such a person: “If he worked here, everyone would be discussing him. I’ve never even heard that name. Perhaps he works as a bouncer in one of our cafes or stores.”
