A sambo room appeared in the Yaroslavl school named after Karl Marx

The school, whose name alone plunges into the communist past, has been renovated in the Yaroslavl region. After a major overhaul, the Karl Marx secondary school in the village of Krasny Profintern appeared before the students in its original form, as if it had come off a Soviet postcard.

This year, five schools of the Yaroslavl region took part in the federal capital repair program. Three of them are located in Rybinsk – No. 3, 30 and 28, and two more are rural: the Karl Marx school in the Nekrasovsky district and the Michurin secondary school in the village of Semlovo.

According to Irina Loboda, Director of the Department of Education of the Yaroslavl Region, in the future, until 2026, it is planned to repair another 15 educational organizations in the region.

By September 1, the Karl Marx School has already acquired a new look. More precisely, returned the long-lost original appearance. The building, built in 1984, has noticeably dilapidated over the years of active operation. The designers decided not to be smart with the color schemes of the facades and decorate the walls in a light gray shade familiar to the locals. To do this, it was decided to sheathe the facades with metal siding.

In addition, the overhaul program provided for the acquisition of modern teaching aids to accompany the educational process. The school purchased 70 sets of individual adjustable desks and chairs for the elementary school, as well as interactive equipment.

But that’s not all. Thanks to participation in the federal overhaul project, we managed to buy a lot for the Point of Growth center, created on the basis of the school last year. There are new designers and 11 tablets. With the help of such simple gadgets, children will be able to comprehend the basics of design and programming. We also managed to update the computer class by purchasing 11 new computers, purchase musical and sports equipment, and even equip a sambo room.

In addition, the school has modern equipment for anti-terrorist protection. For this, video surveillance was installed outside and inside the building, as well as automatic closers were installed on the school gates.

Control over the implementation of all work was carried out not only by employees of the Technical Supervision, the district administration, the education department and the department of education, but also by parents. The latter took an active part not only in terms of control, but also provided all possible assistance at all stages of the repair – from choosing the color of the facades to determining the need for this or that equipment.

Well, at school. Michurin in the village of Semlovo, the teachers finally waited for the roof to be repaired. As the teachers say, the problem is long overdue. It dripped from the ceiling during any heavy rainfall. Now the educational institution has received not only a new roof, but also electric lighting and ventilation in the dining room.

In addition, the secondary school has acquired new furniture and equipment for comfortable study.
