Sochi will host the third round of the Russian Rugby 7s Championship. Twelve teams will compete for points in the center “YUG Sport”. The matches will take place on March 30-31 (0+).
The teams were divided into three groups of four teams each. The teams will hold three meetings on the first day of play, after which, on March 31, the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will take place.
According to the results of the first two rounds, Kazan “Strela-Ak Bars” took first place, gaining 40 points. Penza “Lokomotiv”, “Zastava-7” and “Dynamo” are located further in the standings, having earned 30 points in two rounds. “Bogatyri” from Krasnodar will also take part in the tour. The team ranks eighth in the table.
