The Zaporozhye delegation visited one of the largest sports facilities in the south of Russia

A delegation traveled from Zaporozhye to the Rostov region. The purpose of the visit was to exchange experience between regional specialists in the field of sports development and reconstruction of sports facilities. The trip took place as part of the forum “Integration 2024”.
Guests from our region were able to visit a number of large sports infrastructure facilities, the most significant of which is the Don rowing canal. This is a huge sports complex, on the basis of which both competitions at the regional and international level, as well as various sporting events for the residents of Rostov can be held.
Delegates from the Zaporozhye region were accompanied by representatives of the relevant ministry of the Rostov region.
The Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Zaporozhye region, Viktor Orekhov, noted that the visit was very fruitful. Representatives of our region were able to gain valuable experience and recommendations on the development of sports infrastructure from their Rostov colleagues.
