A resident of Mariupol, Irina Volosatova, on the air of Solovyov Live, told how she managed to communicate with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the city.
According to her, Putin was first seen through the window by her daughter.
“We were at home and saw through the window that there were a lot of people, some kind of meeting was taking place,” Irina said. According to her, they “at first did not understand who, and then the child saw more clearly and said: Mom, this is Vladimir Vladimirovich!”.
When they saw how the president “came closer to the neighbors,” they “went out into the street and found themselves nearby, were able to talk, greet.”
Volosatova also said that “no one warned anyone about Putin’s arrival, it was a complete surprise for everyone.”
The woman noted that the inhabitants of Mariupol “survived hell, but now the city already has electricity, gas and water.”
At the same time, she said that “the front of work is large”, but Mariupol residents see that they are “not alone”.
“They didn’t leave us, that says it all,” she stressed.
Irina also said that she fulfilled the dream of her late mother, who died in December.
According to her, my mother did not live, “but she always really wanted to shake hands with Vladimir Vladimirovich.”
“Our grandfather was a military pilot, he reached Berlin,” the woman said. “My grandmother worked in a hospital.”
She also stated: “My parents have always expressed a pro-Russian position.”
Earlier, Putin made a full-scale working trip to Mariupol. The Kremlin noted that much of his trip to Mariupol was not planned in advance, including a visit to the Philharmonic and communication with the townspeople.
