Spring. Sun in the yard. Figure constellations in Megasport – this is the entourage of a unique show with the participation of the best figure skaters in the country. Spectators, who filled the Ice Palace on Khodynka almost to the limit, witnessed 24 exclusive performances with the participation of athletes from all types of figure skating.
Following the results of the competition, the results of the Russian Challenge show program tournament were announced. The first place was won by Alexei Yagudin with a maximum score of 20.00 points and the top prize of five million rubles on his 43rd birthday. Silver and 3 million went to a pair of Victoria Sinitsyna – Nikita Katsalapov. The third in the final protocol is Anna Shcherbakova with one million rubles in prize money.
Personal awards from the jury: Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin – from Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Mikhail Kolyada liked Yevgeny Mironov, Sofia Akatyeva became the best for Alla Sigalova, Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov charmed Valentin Yudashkin, and Elizaveta Tuktamysheva received the Boris Eifman award. Kamila Valieva became the winner of the audience award among women, Mark Kondratyuk excelled among men, and Vasilisa Kaganovskaya and Valery Angelopol became the best among couples, according to Megasport guests.
The competition rules were simple and ornate at the same time: they were judged according to the criteria “composition” and “performance”. The first is something like this: “the originality of the idea and the quality of the musical and choreographic design”, and the second is “artistry and the quality of the presentation and performance of the program by the participant”.
The most titled Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova on the ice of Megasport appeared in the image of the main star of world cinema – Marilyn Monroe. The 2002 Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin presented the audience with an incredible dramatic talent with his Ne me quitte pas, which was appreciated by the judges. “I spent my 43rd birthday in the circle of people close to me, and this is the most sincere gift. And now I can change my knee with a light conscience, ”Yagudin told reporters after the results of the show programs were announced.
Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov brought the audience almost to tears with their performance on the burning topic of death and resurrection. And Mark Kondratyuk caused a flurry of applause for the Little Prince in incredible scenery.
Olympic champion Kamila Valieva in her program “tamed” the rain, another Olympic champion Anna Shcherbakova “melted” the ice to the cult music of Mikael Tariverdiev from the movie “Seventeen Moments of Spring”.
The magnificent couple Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov “played” a real football competition, and Evgeny Semenenko presented a performance in the style of K-pop.
Two-time world and European champion Evgenia Medvedeva “drawn” on the ice the story of overcoming the live performance of the singer Mia Boyka. Olympic champions Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Solovyov did not lag behind their partners, who skated to the erotic composition Can’t Help Falling in Love performed by Tommee and Diana Ankudinova.
Mikhail Kolyada realized the idea of Ilya Averbukh – a unique performance to the song Je suis malade in a lyrical image, and two-time Olympic champions in Sochi-2014 Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov presented a program on the theme of the biblical love story and betrayal of Samson and Delilah.
Charming and sensual Elizaveta Tuktamysheva was incomparable in her ice tango under La cumparsita, and the silver medalists of the Olympic Games Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov turned out to be a real chess game on ice with their signature twist.
