A photo exhibition dedicated to the vocational guidance system, which is carried out by Moscow schools, has opened on three metropolitan boulevards – Gogolevsky, Tverskoy and Chistoprudny, as well as in Ekaterininsky Park.
Large photographic banners tell about what pre-professional areas and classes are available in the capital’s schools, what subjects the guys study in depth, choosing one or another profile, what “educational verticals” and pre-universities are, what universities, enterprises and other organizations Moscow schools cooperate with within the framework of the organization of training sessions.
As the deputy head of the Moscow Department of Education and Science noted Natalia Kiselevametropolitan schools are aimed at early career guidance: more and more children find their way already at school and subsequently do what they love.
– For this, educational verticals have been created for students of the seventh – ninth grades and pre-professional classes for 10 – 11th parallels. In them, children can understand what areas they are interested in, study school subjects in depth, attend master classes at partner universities, get acquainted with professions in demand at enterprises, and develop their own projects,” said Natalia Kiseleva.

Various pre-professional classes have been opened in Moscow schools, in particular, entrepreneurial, academic, IT classes, engineering, medical, space, media classes, and pedagogical classes. From the next academic year, a new standard of pre-professional education will begin to operate in secondary educational institutions of the capital: curricula will be updated for all school subjects, which will add elements of acquaintance with future professions. For example, each student will be able to undergo training in a specialty in a college and, along with a certificate, will receive a certificate of profession.
