An elderly woman who trusted scammers has disappeared in the Moscow region, reports channel 112.
The woman’s son reported the situation. According to available information, the woman maintained contact with the attackers for about a month – she was deceived, saying that she was involved in an “operation to capture criminals.” She also told her son that in Moscow she met with a representative of the Central Bank, who withdrew a loan from her, which the scammers allegedly issued in her name. The woman did not provide details, citing a “non-disclosure agreement.”
Realizing that the mother had contacted scammers, the man came to her home, but did not find her, and only found a “non-disclosure agreement.” The woman also had no documents at home, and her mobile phone was not connected.
Later, the attackers began calling the woman’s son and threatening to kill his mother, after which he turned to law enforcement officers. A search is currently underway for the scammers and the woman.
