The Moscow company Prompribor-R has successfully carried out all the necessary tests of the equipment and is awaiting mass production. Details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.
“The capital’s manufacturer has created a new gas analyzer model for operation in difficult climatic conditions. Such a sensor remains operational at temperatures from -60 to +60 degrees Celsius. The line has undergone a series of tests and will be put into mass production in the second quarter of 2024,” said Ovchinsky, noting that about 760 production facilities are successfully operating and developing in the city’s instrument-making industry.
The new sensor is resistant to deep snow and strong winds. Data from the gas analyzer is sent over hundreds of meters without loss of signal quality. And the remote control allows you to configure the device without opening it. The general director of the company, Ivan Lebedev, said that the production capacity allows the production of up to 4.5 thousand Arctic devices annually. “A large number of Russian oil and gas fields are located in regions with fairly harsh climatic conditions. Therefore, we, as manufacturers of industrial safety equipment, cannot ignore the requests of our consumers for special modifications and designs of devices capable of reliably operating in harsh northern latitudes,” he concluded.
