The governor of the Rostov region explained the loud sounds in the region as the work of the Air Force
The loud sounds heard by residents in different parts of the Rostov region on Friday, February 16, are associated with the work of units of the Russian Air Force. Governor Vasily Golubev wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“In answer to your questions about loud sounds in different parts of the region, I inform you that according to military information, units of the Russian Air Force are performing tasks in the special operation zone,” said the head of the region.
Golubev added that the situation in the region is under control.
Earlier, the government of the Rostov region reported that, according to military data, The air defense system in the region did not work on February 16.
The loud sound was heard by residents of Rostov-on-Don, Bataysk, Aksay, Shakhty and a number of other settlements.
