A mass bike ride Gran Fondo took place in the Tula region

On July 23, a stage of the Gran Fondo Russia cycling series took place in Dubna. It was attended by about 800 athletes from different regions of Russia.
Cyclists overcame three distances to choose from: 36, 71 and 106 km.
Dmitry Yakovlev, Minister of Sports of the Tula Region, took part in the awards ceremony for the winners.
“The Gran Fondo road cycling series brings together thousands of healthy lifestyle enthusiasts every year. Such events help to attract as many people as possible to go in for sports. This is one of the priorities of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. The interest of our residents in bright and spectacular cycling is growing every year. I congratulate everyone who set a personal record today,” said Dmitry Yakovlev.
All athletes received commemorative medals.
The Gran Fondo series of road cycling races has been held in the Tula region for the fourth year in a row and brings together cyclists and experienced athletes. The Gran Fondo routes run along picturesque trails near major cities and combine elements of cycling and cycling.
