The Moscow facial recognition system (SRL) got confused by the Asian appearance and mistook a random Kyrgyz for a wanted man. This is reported by the Telegram channel Base.
It is reported that the police on the evening of December 8 carried out a raid to detain a citizen, whom the Federal Penitentiary Service of Yakutia put on the federal wanted list, Dmitry Kupriyanov. However, it later turned out that this was not the one they were looking for.
It turned out that the facial recognition system was mistaken in the Asian appearance due to the similarity of the two faces. As a result, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, Abdulbasir Ermatov, was detained. After the Kyrgyz were beaten through all the bases and found out that no one was looking for him, Ermatov was allowed to go home.
