Activists of the Council of Mothers and Wives movement, who had previously tried to take part in a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and relatives of servicemen participating in the special operation, announced that they had been detained in the Samara region. They took documents for verification. They searched the car. They said that there is reason to believe that we are transporting drugs. Then they said that we need to go to the police station. We will be having a conversation. But they did not have a document, an orientation, on what basis they would do this. Their only explanation is that the authorities ordered so. Ms. Tsukanova is sure that the search of the car and the subsequent detention “are connected with the activities of the “Council of Mothers””.
