An experiment with a four-day working week has started in Germany

An experiment with a four-day working week has begun in Germany. This was reported by DW.

45 companies took part in the experiment. Employees of these organizations will work four days a week with full pay.

Trade unions are confident that thanks to three days off, employees will be much more productive.

Such experiments have already been carried out in the USA and Canada and have shown positive dynamics. Those who worked four days a week experienced improved physical and psychological performance, as well as decreased anxiety and burnout levels. After the experiment, companies finally switched to a four-day work week.

German Finance Minister Christian Linder said that such an experiment could reduce the country’s economic growth and prosperity.
