The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case against the head of the Kazakh community in Moscow, Polat Dzhamalov, under the article on fakes about the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Law enforcement agencies reported this TASS.

“A criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

The publication “Vestka” (recognized as a foreign agent) writes that the case was opened on September 11, 2023 by the department for investigating particularly important cases of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow. The reason for this was a post by Polat Jamalov on Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
