A boxing gym will appear in the Slavyansky district

A boxing gym will be built in the Slavyansky district. This issue was discussed at a meeting on the development of the municipality’s sports infrastructure. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexander Vlasov.

According to the deputy head of the region, boxing is one of the priority and basic sports in the region. Its department operates on the basis of the Triumph sports school. 171 athletes train there under the guidance of 7 mentors. During the work of the department, it was possible to prepare 1 Honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation, 1 Master of Sports of International Class, 5 Masters of Sports of the Russian Federation, over 20 candidates for Candidate of Sports, 16 athletes are members of the regional team, and 4 boxers are members of the national team of the country.

Alexander Vlasov emphasized that for comfortable conditions for training, training professional athletes and holding competitions of various levels in the area, a boxing hall will be built. The facility will meet all modern requirements.

The head of the Slavyansky municipality, Roman Sinyagovsky, commented that, at the expense of the local budget, design and estimate documentation for the facility has already been produced. They intend to build the gym under the state program of the Krasnodar Territory “Development of Public Infrastructure” by the end of 2025.

The building area will be almost 2.5 thousand square meters. A training hall and all the necessary infrastructure, including accommodation for athletes, will be equipped on its territory. For students in the age category of 10 years and older, there will be 6 shifts.
