Wild queues appeared in Yaroslavl for tickets to playoff matches

Residents of Yaroslavl created an unprecedented excitement when buying tickets for the games between Lokomotiv and Avangard. Home games in the second round of the playoffs are scheduled for March 20 and 22. The start of ticket sales was scheduled for March 14. And almost from the first minute the official website where you could buy a ticket went down. Those who registered in the electronic queue for a ticket were shown monstrous numbers. Buyers were told that their place in the queue was 17,568, 36,423. Then the “tail” of the queue exceeded 63 thousand people wishing to purchase a ticket.
At the same time, the number of seats in Arena 2000 is just over 9,000. The ice stadium cannot accommodate more than a “cup”.
In addition, buyers noticed oddities in the operation of the ticket sales system. The system showed that the person registered 1200th in the queue later turned out to be 1500th, 2000th, and so on. And when the turn came, the purchase did not work.
The club has not yet commented on how the site administrators solved this problem. Those who came to the box office themselves were a little more fortunate. They were able to get tickets by standing in a physical line.
