A ban on the entry of cars with Russian license plates has come into force in Norway.

From October 3, a ban on the entry into Norway of cars (with a capacity of up to nine seats) with Russian registration comes into force. An exception was made for citizens of the kingdom who live in the Russian Federation, as well as citizens of the European Economic Area (EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).
It is worth noting that Norway is not a member of the European Union, however, the country’s authorities support all sanctions measures against Moscow, including the 11th package of sanctions adopted by Brussels.
