Extremist statements on social networks became the reason for the deprivation of Russian citizenship of a resident of Kamchatka, who previously had a Ukrainian passport. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory.
According to the FSB, from June 2020 to February 2022, the man repeatedly posted on the VKontakte social network calls for violent actions, including executions, murders, and burning of all Russians and government officials. He acquired Russian citizenship in March 2014, refusing a Ukrainian passport.
It is clarified that the decision of the Office of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory to grant this person citizenship of the Russian Federation has now been cancelled.
At the moment, the man is serving a sentence in a general regime colony for justifying and promoting terrorism. The court sentenced him to four years in prison.
