98% of high school graduates received a credit for the final essay

The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science announced the results of how this year’s school graduates wrote the final essay (statement). Successfully completed the work and received credit 98% of the guys. Recall that such a result allows eleventh-graders to get admission to the State Final Attestation. The results of the essay can also be taken into account by the decision of the university when enrolling applicants. Graduates of previous years could write a final essay at will, including for the purpose of using its results when applying to a university.

This year, school graduates were offered a choice of six essay topics, two from each section of the closed topic bank. Most of the guys, that is, almost half of the eleventh graders, chose a topic from the section “Spiritual and moral guidelines in a person’s life.” About 37% of graduates wrote an essay on the topics of the section “Nature and culture in human life”, another 13% chose the topics of the section “Family, society, Fatherland in human life”.

Participants of the final essay who received a non-credit, did not appear at the final essay (statement) or did not complete its writing for good reasons, as well as participants removed from the final essay for violating the procedure for conducting it, will be able to write an essay in additional terms – February 1 or May 3 2023.
