Five sports schools in the capital of the Nightingale Territory this year underwent a global overhaul, which took place as part of the People’s Budget project. This was announced on Wednesday by the head of the regional center Igor Kutsak.
“In sports school No. 2, the roof was repaired, a drain was installed, and the facade of the building and the entrance group were repaired,” the mayor reported.
In sports school No. 5, the mayor continued, the drain was renewed and the roof was overhauled. Large-scale repair work has also been carried out in the building of sports school No. 4. In addition, the artificial turf football field was brought to the proper appearance.
Locker rooms, showers and wrestling halls were put in order at the sports school named after Nikolai Solodukhin. At the boxing school, repairs touched on the heating point, as well as power supply and lighting systems.
“Next year, work in these sports facilities will continue,” Kutsak added.
