16 out of 86 children removed from the Tyumen-Adler train and hospitalized in an infectious diseases hospital showed symptoms of type A influenza, the Ministry of Health reported. The remaining 70 were diagnosed with acute respiratory infection.
“According to operational data, 86 children continue to receive treatment in the infectious diseases hospital, including 16 children diagnosed with influenza A, 70 children with acute respiratory infection,” reported TASS at the Ministry of Health. The department clarified that seven children are in moderate condition, and 79 are in mild condition.
According to the Ministry of Health, 38 children and 11 adults who were also on the train are healthy. They are in the provisional department. “The children are provided with the necessary medical care, telemedicine consultations have been organized with specialists from the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital of the Russian Ministry of Health,” the department noted.
On the evening of December 20, 124 children from the LPR were taken off the Tyumen-Adler train and were returning home after a shift spent at the Olympic Children camp.
