Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit said that distance learning will be introduced in 13 schools located within a 10-kilometer zone from the border with Ukraine. Its introduction, the governor emphasized, is a necessary measure in the conditions of the “yellow” level of terrorist threat in the region.
Education in the online format will be implemented in the schools of the Belovsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts of the Kursk region. In some schools in the border areas, classes will also be moved to other buildings, Mr. Starovoit clarifies in his Telegram channel.
Restrictions will also apply to kindergartens: they will work in the mode of free attendance. The work of the Trinity kindergarten closest to the border with Ukraine will be suspended.
After the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the authorities of the Kursk region regularly prolong the action of “yellow”, a high level of terrorist danger. Similar Modes operate and in other border regions of Russia.
