Russian communist leader Gennady Zyuganov voted in the elections of municipal deputies in Moscow. He cast his vote in the House of Creativity on Miussy.

“Today, our society needs unity more than ever,” said the leader of the Communist Party, quoted by the party’s press service. “But unity is achieved in the course of honest, worthy and fair elections.” Zyuganov also insistently urged to take part in the ongoing vote.

In the capital, municipal elections are held in 125 out of 146 municipalities. Voting in the elections of municipal deputies this year takes place over a three-day period – from 9 to 11 September.
