Zoom service faces a fine for violating operating rules in Russia

The Magistrate Court of the Tagansky District of Moscow received a protocol regarding the platform for organizing online conferences Zoom Video Communications in connection with the violation of the provisions of the law on “landing” in Russia, should from the court file.

It obliges foreign Internet companies with a daily audience of more than 500,000 users to open their authorized representative offices in Russia, create an electronic feedback form with Russian users, create a personal account on the Roskomnadzor website and install the recommended traffic counter on your information resources. They must also limit access to information found to violate Russian law.
