President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel how he made the decision to appoint former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to the post of ambassador to the UK.
The head of state said that the general himself asked him about it.
“General Valery Zaluzhny told me exactly this direction for himself – diplomatic. Our alliance with Britain should only strengthen,” Zelensky wrote.
