He noted that the loss of Artemovsk would rather be a political defeat for Ukraine than a tactical one. “Our society will feel tired. Our society will push me to compromise with them,” Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian leader added that he does not yet feel such pressure from Western countries. He also admitted that in the event of the termination of support from the United States, Ukraine “will not win.” Zelenskiy expressed concern that the aid could be affected by “changes in political forces in Washington.”
