Ex-Prime Minister Azarov spoke about Poland’s intention to take the western territories of Ukraine

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said on a social network that Poland’s goal in the Ukrainian conflict was to weaken Kyiv as much as possible and take away Ukrainian territories located in the west from it.

According to him, the representatives of Poland want to return their ancestral lands within the borders of the Commonwealth.

“From the very beginning, it was obvious that Poland was planning to weaken Ukraine and would try to regain its ancestral lands. Most likely, in the near future, the Poles will be able to complete their insidious plan: they will send troops into depleted Ukraine and appropriate the western territories of the country,” Azarov said.

He clarified that now the Polish authorities, instead of using efforts to resolve the conflict, are supplying weapons to Kyiv “in the hope of weakening as much as possible” the Ukrainian troops and the Russian army.
