Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on the dismissal of the heads of the Odessa, Khmelnytsky and Kyiv-controlled Lugansk regions of Ukraine. All three documents are published on the President’s website.

In accordance with the decrees, Sergei Gamaly will leave the post of chairman of the Khmelnitsky regional state administration, Maxim Marchenko – of the Odessa administration, and Sergei Gaidai – of the Lugansk administration.

At the same time, all three are dismissed from their posts according to the applications submitted by them.

On January 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky fired the heads of five regional administrations in the south, east and center of Ukraine at once, as well as four deputy ministers, including Deputy Defense Minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov, who is responsible for logistics. Shortly before this, a scandal erupted in Ukraine about the purchase of food for the army at prices several times higher than in retail chains.
