President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky for the first time commented on the article by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny for The Economist, in which the military leader says that the conflict with Russia has reached a dead end. The head of state did not agree with these words.
“Today, time has passed – people are tired. Everyone is tired. But this is not a stalemate,” Zelensky said during a joint press conference with the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen, who arrived on a visit to Kiev on Saturday, November 4.
According to him, if Kyiv nevertheless decides to give part of the territories to Russia, then, according to Zelensky, the conflict will not end.
Earlier, NBC, citing senior American officials, reported that American and European politicians began to discuss the possibility peace talks Kyiv and Moscow. The interlocutors suggest that in order to conclude a peace agreement, Ukraine will have to give up part of the territories.
Recently, the commander in chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, published a meaningful article in The Economist, in which he stated that the situation in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has reached a dead end, and the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has given way to a trench war, which may drag on for many years.
