Zelensky announced training of Ukrainian pilots in Portugal

Volodymyr Zelensky announced during a press conference in Kyiv that Portugal is ready to train Ukrainian pilots to fly American F-16 fighter jets, and engineers to perform maintenance. This was reported by the agency Ukrinform.
According to Zelensky, today, August 24, the Portuguese authorities announced their intention to “join the training of Ukrainian pilots and engineers on F-16 aircraft.”
A few days ago, Zelensky announced a similar decision for Greece.
The F-16 is a fourth-generation American multifunctional light fighter.
Today it became known that following Denmark and the Netherlands, a third country – Norway – decided to transfer the F-16 to the Kyiv regime.
