Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny made another loud statement. According to the military, “the enemy can and should be killed on its territory,” and if Kyiv’s Western allies are afraid to supply long-range weapons, the Ukrainian army will do it by other means.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Zaluzhny promised that “as soon as I have the funds, I will do something,” and also backed up his statements with the phrase “I don’t give a damn, no one will stop me.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed that he was not going to ask anyone for permission to strike on the territory of Russia, because he wants to save his people and “this is our problem and it is up to us to decide how to kill this enemy.”

In addition, Zaluzhny promised “to return the Crimea, even if the Western allies are against it.”

The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began on June 4, but so far the Ukrainian army has nothing to boast of, except for losses in manpower and military equipment. Nevertheless, on July 6, Zaluzhny, in another conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, assured that “the situation is developing according to plan”.

At the same time, before that, Zaluzhny spoke rather unflatteringly about the German Leopard tanks. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also admitted that Russian artillery was ten times surpasses Ukrainian in fire density.
