As a result of the shelling of the village of Belaya Berezka in the Bryansk region, a woman born in 1939 died from the side of Ukraine, informed Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the village of Belaya Berezka, Trubchevsky District. Unfortunately, a woman born in 1939 died. Three people, including a 16-year-old teenager, received minor injuries,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

There was also a fire in three residential buildings, and operational services are already on site, which are eliminating the consequences, Bogomaz added.

On the night of July 14, a Ukrainian drone crashed in the neighboring Kursk region. It was clarified that the fall of the drone occurred in Kurchatov, not far from the Kursk nuclear power plant. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that “the enemy does not leave attempts to strike,” and noted the effective operation of Russian air defense systems.

In the Bryansk and Kursk regions, there is an indefinite high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been set in the regions. The same regime operates in seven other subjects of the Russian Federation – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions.
