A German military equipment factory would become a legitimate target for the Russian army if it were built in Ukraine. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova at a briefing on Thursday, July 20.

Recall that ten days ago, information appeared about the intention of the German concern Rheinmetall to open a plant for the production of tanks and other armored vehicles in western Ukraine within 12 weeks. Armin Papparger, CEO of the company, told CNN about this interview. “Such a plant, if built, will become, along with beloved other objects of the defense complex of Ukraine, a legitimate military target for the Russian armed forces,” Maria Zakharova emphasized.
