YouTube video service tests a new feature that will allow you to duplicate videos in different languages. The feature is currently only available to a limited number of authors, with a full launch scheduled for 2024.
Artificial intelligence (AI) from Aloud will transcribe the video and offer a transcript, which the author can then edit. The AI will then translate and record the dubbed track. Support for translation from English to Spanish and Portuguese will initially be available, but there are plans to expand the number of supported languages in the future. In addition, the company wants to further synchronize the voice tracks with the articulation in the frame, as well as add a brighter emotional coloring to the voices.
In September 2021 Yandex.Browser launched video voice-over function: you can only translate from English, male and female voices are available. In August 2022 Yandex.Browser learned overlay voiceover on live broadcasts.
