Youth employment problem

The Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions will implement federal projects on youth employment. The corresponding resolution was approved by the Government of the Russian Federation and published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
Assistance to young professionals – graduates of secondary vocational educational institutions in finding employment, support for children who want to do business – such projects are planned to be implemented by the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions next year.
— We are launching a large-scale work to support youth entrepreneurship and self-employment in Russia. On our part, this is a tangible support for those who wanted to start their own business, but do not yet understand how and where to start, do not have the necessary skills or do not have support. Participation in programs is an opportunity to master a profession in a short time, work with trusted experts who will act as personal mentors and help implement ideas, find like-minded people, launch your own project, tell the public about it and start earning officially– said Robert Urazov, Director General of the Skills and Professions Development Agency.
The department is going to develop two programs: the Career Support Project for Citizens and the Country of Masters Project. The first is designed for young people aged 16 to 35 who, within six months after graduation, could not find a job, were dismissed from military service, or are parents of many children. As part of the second project, it is planned to provide assistance to young people who would like to try themselves as entrepreneurs, but do not yet have a legal entity, the status of a self-employed or individual entrepreneur. They will be assisted by mentors who will help participants decide on the choice of direction for business, get an order or the first profit. This and next year, the project is expected to include at least 22.5 thousand people.
