11-year-old Gubkin volleyball players took gold at competitions in Kogalym, this was reported by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
“According to the results of the tournament, Milana Sorokina became the best player of her team. The girls train at the Arktika sports school under the leadership of Oleg Khomutskikh,” the relevant department said in a statement.
The Kogalym open volleyball championship among girls aged 11 was held on April 13 and 14. Five teams from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug took part in the tournament.
