Young tourists in the NAO are preparing for a 40-kilometer hike

On Saturday, August 12, 20 activists of the Russian movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”, members of the Yunarmiya and representatives of the military-patriotic associations of the region will go on a tourist and local history trip. Hiking with an overnight stay for teenagers in the area of Lake Vaskino, timed to coincide with the Day of the Athlete.
In two days, young tourists will walk almost 40 kilometers, according to the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The main goal of the trip is to show young people the advantages and possibilities of a healthy lifestyle, tourism, sports and other outdoor activities.
– Previously, the participants of the trip will be instructed, receive equipment, after that, together with the instructors, they will go along the route to Lake Vaskino, along the way the guys will have to overcome several obstacles on the ground. On the spot, young tourists will organize a bivouac, organize a tourist life, cook food on a fire, after dinner in the program of a hike in nature and evening gatherings around the fire, the organizers of the event said.
