Kaluga judoist Vladimir Dosyak took the “gold” of international competitions. Until August 14, the II Games of the CIS countries are being held in Belarus, according to the Ministry of Sports of the Kaluga Region.
“Vladimir Dosyak, a pupil of the sports school of the Olympic reserve Yunost, made a significant contribution to judo competitions. In the weight category over 90 kg, Vladimir won a gold medal,” the ministry said.
In total, more than 2 thousand athletes from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and more guests from 13 other countries are fighting for medals. There are 20 sports in total. According to the results of 4 days in the medal standings in the top three – Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan.
