Young residents of Surgut became winners of the Russian championship in adaptive taekwondo

Children from the school of adaptive taekwondo “Kihap” from Surgut took part in the Russian Cup for the first time. The debut turned out to be successful – the Ugra team became the third in the team standings, losing only to rivals from Samara and Moscow. In total, the Ugra team won nine gold, three silver and five bronze medals, they competed in pairs and demonstration complex.
The school of adaptive taekwondo “Kihap” is the only one in the city, this sport differs from traditional taekwondo in the absence of contact between rivals. This type of martial art helps children with disabilities develop memory, attention, flexibility, discipline, writes the NEFT telegram channel.
