On the initiative of the Vice-President of the Judo Federation of Russia Vladimir Plotnikov and at the invitation of the Judo Federation of the Perm Territory, 24 young judokas from the Lugansk People’s Republic and two of their coaches came to Perm for the second time to compete. The delegation arrived by morning train on 30 May. She was met by representatives of the judo federation and the president of the Volunteers of Donbass Charitable Foundation, Vyacheslav Luchnikov. It should be noted that the Volunteers of Donbass Foundation provided real assistance in organizing the trip of young athletes for the second time.

Right from the platform, the guys went to the sports complex. Sukharev, where breakfast was waiting for them. Then everything is on schedule: weighing, preparation for competitions and, in fact, the sports competitions themselves – the Cup of the head of the city of Perm.

And now the children from Lugansk have a summer shift ahead of them at a children’s camp in the Perm Territory. Immediately after the tournament, the LPR team went to Chaikovsky to participate in training camps together with the judokas of the Kama region. In the sports camp, where all conditions are created for them, the guests will live and train until June 14. This new tradition is aimed not only at improving the sports skills of the guys, but also at integrating young judokas of the LPR into the judo family of Russia.
