You can sell vegetables from your garden at weekend fairs

Owners of personal subsidiary farms got the opportunity to trade their products at weekend fairs and festivals. To do this, they only need to apply for the status of self-employed and apply for a trading place.

Decreewhich self-employed agricultural producers are allowed to participate in weekend fairs and festivals, was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The resolution emphasizes that such a measure of state support for owners of personal subsidiary farms (PSH), registered as self-employed, will be valid until the expiration of the experiment period established by the Federal Law “On Conducting an Experiment to Establish a Special Tax Regime “Tax on Professional Income”, i.e. until the end of 2028.

“The adopted decision opens up new opportunities for the self-employed in the agricultural sector. Now they will have an additional channel for marketing the products they produce – milk, meat, vegetables, herbs, and consumers will have the opportunity to purchase products at affordable prices.

Since the beginning of 2022, the state has been introducing new measures to support private agricultural producers. So, recently “Moskovskaya Pravda” informedthat self-employed owners of household plots received access to soft loans for the development of production.

In Moscow, places at weekend fairs are provided free of charge, all expenses are covered by the city. To get a place at the fair, you need to send the appropriate application on the mos.ru portal.
