The cheapest lot is a leaflet from 1991 with the text: “Be careful! If you don’t want to live even worse, and give your meager earnings to speculators and swindlers; if you do not want to live without war in Russia occupied by foreigners; If you are tired of the “perestroika” and learned talkers, do not vote for Yeltsin and Sobchak.”

— In 1991, I graduated from the printing school. I completed my internship at the Budyonny Academy of Communications in St. Petersburg, where these leaflets were printed,” Andrey recalls. “I was young, I supported Sobchak and Yeltsin, and the employees of the military academy were against these comrades, including the head of the printing house and the entire senior military personnel. The leaflets were printed in huge quantities, a million for sure. There were also large leaflets with coats of arms, but I did not have access to them. Since then I have kept 5-6 pieces. People call and ask to sell for 100 rubles, I don’t agree. So far we’ve only bought two. One man took it for his collection, but the second buyer did not explain why.

The most expensive item associated with the name of the first president is a writing instrument. It was valued at 3 million rubles.
The description says: “The set was presented to Yeltsin by Oleg Soskovets in 1994. The stone is charoite, in the middle there is antique enamel on silver. Everything else is 585-carat gold. “I bought this thing a year after the death of Boris Nikolaevich,” says Georgy. — It’s not entirely correct to name the seller. I will say this, people close to Yeltsin after his death sold this item without remorse. The fact that the device belonged to the president does not add to its value; it is not the same figure. The gift is as valuable as a piece of jewelry. This is a magnificent work; a monument can be erected to the master. Considering that there are almost 500 grams of gold and 30 carats of rubies, the price is low. The thing, of course, is not for everyone. Its owner must have at least an appropriate office. Mostly hucksters contact me. They offer to buy it back as scrap gold.
A medal with Yeltsin’s image is up for sale for 10 thousand rubles.
“In 2005, I exchanged this medal from a drunk for a bottle of burnt vodka; it was hanging on his greasy jacket,” says Pavel. — I remember stopping in a parking lot to buy vodka for 14 rubles to put in the car instead of anti-freeze. A man came up and asked me to buy him a bottle, but he didn’t have money, so he paid with a medal. He didn’t ask where he got it from. — I bought this pass myself. Put it up for sale relatively recently. So far there have been no buyers,” the seller explained. “But at my price they don’t buy these things; they think they’re expensive.”
Items associated with Yeltsin are not valued as much as those associated with Putin. They are of great value abroad.
If we return to Boris Nikolaevich, then, firstly, there are not many things from his period on sale. Secondly, little time has passed since the end of his reign. I think that over the years, such artifacts with his name will only become more expensive.
