In the capital region, a thunderstorm is expected in the coming hours, which may be accompanied by heavy rains and downpours, as well as hail. This follows from the prognostic warning map of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.

The agency has set a “yellow” level of weather danger, which will be valid until 21:00 Moscow time on Friday, July 7, due to hail and until 12:00 Moscow time on July 8 – due to thunderstorms and heavy rain.

In addition, Muscovites were warned about the threat of strong winds, the speed of which can reach 15-20 m/s.

Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow weather bureau, spoke earlier about the changeable weather in July. According to the expert, throughout the month in Moscow, coolness will be replaced by heat. In the period from 10 to 12 July, the lowest daily temperature is predicted. Then the north wind will again change to the south and by the middle of the month the temperature will return to the mark of 25-27 degrees Celsius.
