Yaroslavl residents won 37 medals at the All-Russian Kudo tournament

About 600 athletes came to Yaroslavl for the All-Russian kudo competition “Grizzly Open Cup”.
It was held here for the fifth year in a row, but with this status – for the first time. About six hundred wrestlers competed at the Voznesensky sports complex. Our region was represented by 150 sports school students.
Deputy Chairman of the regional government Vera Dargel noted that the Yaroslavl kudo school is one of the strongest in the country. Currently, about 3.5 thousand teenagers and adults are involved in this sport.
The tournament was attended by young athletes from 12 to 17 years old, as well as adult kudo players. Yaroslavl residents won 37 medals, including 13 gold, the same number of silver and 11 bronze.
