Competitions among game creators were held in Kazan as part of the “Games of the Future” tournament. The final of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game” ended here. The silver medalist in the competition for individual developers over 18 years of age was Sergey Kitenko from Perm.
In total, almost 300 developers competed for prizes.
The significance of the tournament was emphasized by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. He estimates that more than 60% of citizens in the country play video games. And these are just statistics for Russians over 16 years old.
