“Yandex” will pay “Beeline” roaming for scooters

To launch the kicksharing service in Kazakhstan, Yandex purchased roaming SIM cards from the Russian operator Beeline. This was told to Vedomosti by a representative of Beeline and confirmed by a representative of Yandex itself.

Beeline is the main mobile partner of the company’s sharing service, since the beginning of the year it has supplied 50,000 SIM cards for scooters, a representative of the operator said. In 2021–2022 The operator supplied 20,000 SIM cards for Yandex scooters. The total volume of SIM cards purchased by Yandex from Beeline amounted to 70,000.
