The scientific equipment of the Luna-25 automatic station flying to the Earth’s satellite is operating in the normal mode. Roskosmos announced the receipt of the first flight measurement data, and scientific specialists promptly began processing.
The press service of the state corporation said that the first switching on of a complex of scientific equipment developed by the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences was carried out in space flight conditions. Service telemetry information from all devices showed normal operation. “The first measurement data on the flight to the Moon have been received,” Roscosmos said.
On August 11, the first lunar mission in the modern history of our country was launched. The launch of the automatic interplanetary station “Luna-25” was carried out from the Vostochny cosmodrome. Soft landing “Luna-25” on the South Pole of the Earth’s satellite is scheduled for August 21.
