Yamal chess player brought an award from the Urals Championship

Salekhard athlete Galina Mikheeva became the winner of the Ural championship in blitz (chess) among men and women. This was reported in the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to the results of the competition, Mikheeva won the bronze medal of the tournament. The girl studies at the Polar Chess School of Anatoly Karpov in the regional capital under the guidance of coach Alexander Potapov.
The Ural Blitz Championship took place in Chelyabinsk. 28 athletes took part in the women’s tournament.
Let us add that blitz is a chess game where a limited time is given to think about moves. Each player is given no more than 10 minutes per game.
Earlier it was reported that Yamal wrestlers won medals at the Ural Championship.
