Traktor lost the match to Lokomotiv in overtime

Traktor failed to turn the series around in the second game in Yaroslavl. Lokomotiv won in overtime 2:3 in the match and 0:2 in the series. The Chelyabinsk team scored goals from Vitaly Kravtsov and Ilya Karpukhin.

The Chelyabinsk team had to make changes to the lineup not only to change the game, but also to compensate for losses. Martin Gernat hit the Chelyabinsk goal for the second time in the series. The owners did not hesitate to be rude despite the loyalty of the judges. For example, a push to the board of our center forward Alexander Sharov, which could have led to a serious injury, was estimated by the referee as only two minutes for Stepan Nikulin.

Breaking the defense of Lokomotiv, which is leading in the score, is an extremely difficult task, but Traktor managed to do it without delaying it until the last minutes. The fourth line, in full force, plowed its shift, held the puck in the opponent’s zone and brought Ilya Karpukhin out to shoot. On the second attempt, “Karp” finally hit Daniil Isaev. Traktor was close to taking the match in regular time, but the game went into overtime.
